Hornets come away from 2A East Smackdown 3-1

The Pine Bluffs Hornets boy's varsity basketball team traveled north to Tongue River to play in the 2A tournament. The team did very will against the teams of Big Horn, Tongue River, Sundance and Wright. It would be a genuine test of the depth of the team as they would be playing without one of the starters. Stu Lerwick was not feeling well and would not play much at all. The Hornets managed a 3-1 record coming out of the tournament for a seasonal record of 10-2. It was a good start to the rest of the 2023 season.
