James Patrick Wilkinson, like many from a military family has become part of a Gold Star Family (Nephew). This is not an achievement, it is a membership due to the loss of a family member through war, or a time of conflict. Wilkinson would receive a Gold Star "Son" due to the loss of his uncle, Candelario Patrick "Pat" Bustos.
