Flags of our Fathers, a 2006 film directed by Clint Eastwood, tells the story about the surviving members of the team that raised the flag during the battle on the isle of Iwo Jima. In February and March of 1945, U. S. troops fight and win one of the most crucial and costly battles of the war on the island of Iwo Jima. Pine Bluffs Post 60 of the American Legion hosted this feature film on Sunday the 19th. A gathering of about 20 people showed up to view the movie.
