The Meals on Wheels of Cheyenne held their annual March for meals to commemorate the anniversary of its inception in delivering more than meals to Laramie County residents in 1970. In March 1972 President Nixon signed into law nutrition that amended the Older American Act of 1965. But established a national program of the senior of 60 years and older. Programs from across the country join together to celebrate this success and garner support needed to ensure continuance. This program helps address malnutrition, combat social isolation, enable independence and improve health for years.
