Pine Bluffs has a new Police Chief in town. Austin Smith has had the honor to be chosen for the position.

Smith has been in law enforcement for 12 years. He started in Dawson County up by Chadron, Nebraska working in the County Sheriff's office. Smith was there for three and a half years.

He was then hired in Sidney, Nebraska where Smith became a sergeant.
