Easter is right around the corner and that means the ever fun community Easter Egg hunts. The kids were lined up with their buckets or baskets ready to find the prize laden Easter eggs. The hunt was held in and around the Albin Community Center in Albin. Easter Egg Hunts date back to the late 16th century, when the Protestant reformer Martin Luther organized egg hunts for his congregation. But it was the German Lutheran tradition that first linked with a Bunny or Hare for Easter. In that tradition if the kids were good the Easter Bunny would hide eggs for them.
