Colby Smith, a senior at Burns High School is a rodeo star. He has been competing since he was knee high to a horse. Smith took the next step in his career by signing a letter of intent with Casper College to continue his education and competition in the sport. His mother Cassie Smith was there to witness and sign with him.

According to Smith it is in his blood. His grandfather was a bareback rider and his father was a bull rider. Smith competes in team roping and saddle bronc riding and is good at it. In 2021 and 2023 he was the Big Piney High School Rodeo Champion. He is also in the Wyomi...
