Burns Students compete at State Poster Contest

Four students of Burns Elementary competed in a poster contest. The Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl is a national contest. The contest was for students in the first grade through fifth grade. The posters go to the local National Garden Clubs to be presented and awarded. All the Laramie County students sent their posters to the Cheyenne Garden Club. The winners then go to state. After the state contest it is followed by national.
