Numerous roads flooded by Spring Storms

Above: Flooding conditions out on Road 213, Burns Oil after a serious rainstorm. The Cheyenne National Weather Service, meteorolgist Jerry Claycomb stated on Thursday, the area received 1.35 to 2.6 inches in a short period of time.

Flooding has been a factor in the past week. Knowing how fast the rain can add up in a short time has been a reality. Electricity has been going on and off during the storms. The power lines and transformers have had problems with the amount of rain and possible lightning.

Flood waters can damage your electrical installation and wiring.The flood waters subside, mud deposits, and debris can conduct electricity which could make it dangerous. During the storms the lightning could strike a power line or transformer that could easily go down into water or the flood area. With lightning and thund...
