Big Boy No. 4014 stops in Albin for viewing

Above: With the Big Boy No. 4014 at a complete stop, residents of Albin and the surrounding areas get an up close and personal look at the remarkable still running steam engine, taking them back in time.

The cars were racing to the stop point and the people were lining up by the tracks in Albin, Wyoming to see the steam engine, Big Boy No. 4014 on it's first stop during its yearly trip.

The train comes through Albin possibly twice a year which is normal for grain cars. Like every town in Wyoming trains are a way to get from town to town. Products, moving cattle, and horses are one way to supply the towns. In Albin there was a hardware store, and grocery store at least in the past. Albin was a booming town many years ago.
