Kay (Moore) Goodschmidt was selected to be the 2023 Grand Marshal of the 95th Albin Day Celebration. However, Kay will be the Honorary Grand Marshal this year in her true Albin spirit as she went to her Heavenly Home on January 13, 2023 following a brief but severe illness.
In 1963 Kay served as Albin Day Queen along with attendants Martha Norberg and Joan Rabou. The beautiful float was decorated with purple and white flowers. Albin Day Chairman, Jillian McLaughlin said "Kay was Albin Day's biggest fan and Kay always made sure she attended the celebration every year." The Albin Alumni Banq...
