'Snakes Alive'... in the grass, in the trees Watch out for the slithering snakes

The sun is shining, the grass is growing, and the summer season is here. In Wyoming, this is the time to be extra cautious for snakes. As people are out getting exercise, and love to hike it comes with danger.

There are several kinds of snakes in the state of Wyoming.

But the main ones are garter snakes, bull snakes, gopher snakes and rattle snakes. The most dangerous snake is the rattle snake. They love to slither along the ground but they also climb trees, hide in the bushes, and hide in rock crevices. Their color is light brown, greenish-brown, greenish gray, or yellow with white- borde...
