'Heroes and Friends ' bring together Neighbors, Friends and Family for Albin Day

Once a year the town of Albin is full of activities. It is the annual celebration for the town. For their 95th year of celebration, their theme was "Heroes and Friends."

This fits the town to a tee. Most of the people are always helping in the community along with the fact that they are friends.

Albin was founded by John Albin Anderson who owned the post office. The community was homesteaded by Swedish immigrants in the 1880's. The Union Pacific Railroad had built the rails through the area that became the town of Albin. During those years the town was booming with grocery stores, gas stations...
