Roping Series has great turnout with 77 teams for Friday Night Roping

The Pine Bluffs Roping Club had their third roping competition Saturday, July 14th. The competition had 77 teams all vying for the jackpot payoff of over $1,000. The best "time" for the roping would receive a payout of over $400. On a Saturday evening that had Mother Nature trying to put a damper on the event over 40 riders showed up to compete.

The arena was wet on top due to recent rains but dried out about an inch down. The horses didn't seem to mind as they were fast and nimble. It was quite a show and entertaining for the spectators to watch. Teams are selected at random from the list...
