The undefeated Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity football team travelled to Lusk, Wyoming to take on the Niobrara County Tigers in an effort to keep their undefeated title intact. Coach Gray said this, "I'll take the win, but it was an ugly game." The Hornets maintained their undefeated status and won the game 21-14. The Hornets had an uncomfortable 7 penalties for 57 yards in the game. The Hornets had four turnovers in the game, three fumbles and one interception.
