The Pine Bluffs Hornets varsity football team had their home coming game last Friday here in Pine Bluffs. The team was undefeated in six straight games, and they were going to face another unbeaten team in the Lingle/Ft Laramie Doggers. The winner of the game would sit atop the 2A conference and take a large morale boost into the play-offs. For most of the game the Hornets were dominant. For three quarters the Hornets held the Doggers scoreless. It looked like the Hornets were going to keep their undefeated status.
