Burns/Pine Bluffs host SEWAC Grapplers place high in competition

The South East Wyoming Athletic Conference (SEWAC) held their annual wrestling championship tournament last weekend in Burns, Wyoming. There were five teams from the local area that competed in the tournament. Teams from Glenrock, Burns/Pine Bluffs, Lingle/Ft Laramie, Niobrara County and Southeast all sent their best junior high wrestlers to bid for the championship. Burns/Pine Bluffs did very well winning eight championships, 10 runner-ups and nine third-place finishes. There were 116 wrestlers from the five schools that competed.
