Hornets Clawed by Tigers

The Hornets varsity basketball team tipped off against the Lusk Tigers last Friday. In a very close conference game the Hornets gave the Tigers everything they could and held the game close till the end. The Tigers clawed their way to a win with last minute efforts and ended the game with a 39-42 score.

Carsten Freeburg gave a valiant effort in the game. Freeburg was the teams leading scorer with 19 points. Freeburg hit 100% of his five free throws. Not as accurate from the floor, he hit two of five outside the arch and four of eight from inside. He also had three rebounds with one assist....
