Hornets come up Short in Bayard

Despite strong efforts by the Hornets boys track and field team the team placed ninth overall. In a field of 13 teams the Hornets managed four top three finishes and several top ten. It was a good showing for the Hornets and sound experience for the team.

Alex Head finished second in the men’s 100m run and was part of the first place 4x100m and third place 4x400m relay teams. Carsten Freeburg took second place in the triple jump.
