Candidate filing signals end of voters ability to change political party ahead of August Primary
The 2024 election season officially kicks off at 8 a.m., Thursday, May 16, with the start of candidate filing for the Aug. 20 Primary election. The Laramie County Clerk’s office will accept applications for county commissioner, assessor, and political party precinct committee members through Friday, May 31 at 5 p.m.
Applications are available on the Laramie County Clerk’s election page at https://www.laramiecountywy.gov/County-Government/Elected-Officials/County-Clerk/Elections/Campaign-Corner or may be picked up at the election office in the Laramie County Governmental Complex, 309 W 20th St....
