    Tuesday morning, Carpenter principal Laurie Bahl welcomed Mary Ellbogen Garland who is the president and chair of the Ellbogen Foundation to present the Ellbogen Meritorious School Award. Garland shared what a feat Carpenter teachers and staff accomplished by receiving this award. “Only eight schools in Wyoming have accomplished this,” Garland said.     The Burns Broncs turned in a third place performance at the 2A East Regional track meet last weekend. The team earned a collective 87 points for the ranking. The Pine Bluffs Hornets scored 69 points to take sixth place. Taking a look at the top three finishers in each event, spectators saw Colton Wright run the 100m dash in 11.82 to take second place.
