Pawnee brings two wins home

The Pawnee Coyotes played both of last week’s games on the road and brought home two wins to increase their record to 10-5 overall and 7-2 in league action. On Thursday, they defeated Briggsdale by a score of 65-58. Pawnee hit the road again Friday, bringing home a 62-55 victory over Weldon Valley.

“It was a very hard fought game,” Pawnee head coach Tim Brunelle said of Thursday’s game. “Briggsdale played very well, as we knew they would. We were down eight going in to the fourth quarter, and finally put together a nice run, forcing some turnovers and converting at the other end”
