For the special this week at the Hereford Community Church Steve Hauer sang “The Anchor Holds.”

The sermon topic was “Doubting Thomas.” The scripture for the day was John 20:19-31. The scriptures don’t tell us much about Thomas. We know he was a willing follower of Jesus, but after the crucifixion, he didn’t believe Jesus was alive again. John 20:25 says “But Thomas said, First, I must see the nail scars in his hands and touch them with my finger. I must put my hand where the spear went into his side.
