Elm Street gets 'spruced'

Over 25 volunteers came out with the sunshine Saturday morning to help Cheyenne Light Fuel and Power weatherize and clean up two local homes to complete their work with the grant from National Day of Service Remembrance program. The volunteers helped the homeowners caulk around the windows and doors, install carbon monoxide monitors, and plant bushes and trees. Some interior cleaning as well as outside trimming was completed before the volunteers enjoyed lunch sponsored by Texas Roadhouse of Cheyenne.
