Burns off to a nice start

Cody Leader drives the ball down the court at the Tiger Jamboree last weekend. Leader and the Broncs were satisfied with the start of their season, but look to improve on 2-1 as they host the Winter Classic in Burns Friday and Saturday.

The Burns Broncs traveled to the Tiger Jamboree knowing they were deep in experience and unclear who would take the point lead.

After three games into the season, the Broncs have a better understanding of how they will play off each other's talents and experience.

"We are off to a nice start with a 2-1 record," Head Coach Sean Patterson said. "We understand the season is very early and we have a lot of areas that we need to improve on."

The work done thus far seemed to pay off with the team hitting at least 30 percent of its 2-point shots and 40 percent of their free throws. Many games in...
