Lady Hornets show sting

Home court advantage for the Lady Hornets Friday night didn't nudge Pine Bluffs over Kimball.

"We did not play lady hornet defense that night," Coach Lindsey Forbes said. "We sent Kimball to the line 33 times. They were 19 of 33. That can't happen."

Offensively, Pine Bluffs struggled to score inside the paint and lost to Kimball 43-51.

Saturday had the Lady Hornets welcoming Lusk to their Hornet hive. Pine Bluffs, coming off a difficult loss so soon showed up to play. The 45-35 win left the Lady Hornets with a sense of accomplishment.

"This was a great team win," Forbes said. "I was really pleased with the way we bounced back after Friday's loss."

Pine Bluffs hosts Guernsey Friday night and Southeast Saturday afternoon.
