Anderson returns home after 9-month deployment

Lt. Col. Leonard Anderson Jr. is returning to his home in Nebraska after serving as commander of the 949th Medical Detachment Veterinary Services in Kuwait.

Anderson, the son of Leonard Anderson Sr. and Norma Jean Anderson of Pine Bluffs, grew up in Albin, and made his home in Kearney, Neb.

"We most recently sent a load of filled footlockers home which marked the beginning of our redeployment journey," Anderson wrote in a news letter.
