Albin community news

Many of us ventured out on the past cold Saturday to see the great buys at the community garage sale at the Albin Community Center. Everything from clothes to furniture was offered and bought. The Burns Football team hosted a lunch. A nice event for a Saturday.

This week was also the farm and ranch show. No news of how well it went. I am sure we will get the news next week for you.

If you haven’t checked out Bountiful Baskets yet, you might want to. The asparagus and fruits looked very nice and tasty.

A big thank you to Jason and Jillian McLaughlin and family for brining a little Christmas cheer to the Smith family. Nice notions like that are welcome year round.

The Albin Fire Department was also in the mood for giving and sent a little gift the Smith’s way. Not only do they rush in when everyone else is rushing out, they also quietly improve the lives of its community.

It seems everyone is finally drying out. A little precipitation coming our way, however, spring sea to be here. More or less.
