Broncs take third in Bayard Invite

The Burns Broncs track and field team performed well overall Saturday, tying for third place in the Bayard Invitational.

"It was a great day," said Coach Cole Manlove, impressed with many of the boys on the team.

The Broncs tied with the Cody-Kilgore team, both with 46 points. The Lingle-Fort Laramie Team took first at the meet with 73 points.

Manlove highlighted the combined performance of Wyatt Berg, Taylor Kirkbride, Tegan Johnson and Noah Taylor in the 4x800 meter relay. The team placed third in the event with a time of 9:01.64.
