Drop second game to Rocky Mountain

Pine Bluffs Hornet No. 23 Trent Werner, who led with 14 points against Lyman, goes for two points during the semifinals in Casper Friday night.

With all the marbles riding on the second game of the state championship in Casper last weekend, the Pine Bluffs Hornets found themselves with their backs up against the wall in the semifinals.

Facing a tough Rocky Mountain team, the Hornets couldn't recover from a half time deficit, and lost the game 57-69. The Hornets defeated Lyman 44-31 the night before to advance to round two.
