Hornets sting Wolves, 36-21

The Pine Bluffs Hornets improved to 4-3 in pigskin action last Friday with a 36-21 stinging of the host Moorcroft Wolves.

“The kids did a good job of staying focused during the long bus ride,” said Coach Will Gray. “Our secondary played much better.”

Pine Bluffs totaled 396 yards of offense, 332 by the run, 64 by the pass.

Leading the ground attack for the Hornets was Ruger Lewis, who picked up 180 net yards rushing, followed by Trent Werner with 90 yards, Isaiah Montanes with 19, Kyle Jeffres with 16 and Haize Fornstrom with 14 yards.
