Lady Broncs finish regular season with a split

Last Tuesday, October 20, The Burns Lady Broncs volleyball team hosted Southeast and beat the Cyclones 3-1 (25-17, 18-25, 25-23, 25-17).

"We finally played a match where we put it all together," said coach Christina Patterson. "The girls played consistent and confident against Southeast."

Individual stats:

Malli O'Neal - 2 aces, 16 digs

Rachel Kelly - 2 aces, 9 kills, 16 digs

Willow Martin - 2 aces, 26 assists, 9 digs

Jessica Malm - 16 kills, 22 digs

Katie Norris - 11 kills, 13 digs

Madisyn Mirich - 5 kills,

Isabella Sanchez - 4 kills, 15 assists, 9 digs

The Lady Broncs then closed out the regular season with a road loss to Lingle, losing 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 21-25, 25-21, 6-15).

"We struggled to find that consistency and couldn't sustain in the end", added Patterson. "It was a tough battle."

Malli O'Neal - 12 digs

Patterson said, "This team has grown a lot over the season and we look forward to heading into the Regional Tournament next weekend."
