Pine Bluffs boys second, girls first at home meet

Freshman Kendra Sloan clears the hurdles during the Pine Bluffs Invitational last Friday. Sloan placed seventh in the finals of the 100m hurdles and third in the finals of the 300m hurdles.

As the 2016 track season winds down, Pine Bluffs girls and boys had an impressive home meet Friday of last week.

Pine Bluffs High School track coach Dustin Lee said there were many personal bests posted during the home stand.

"Some of the top standouts were Hallie Christofferson, who took second in the 1600-meter run and also took sixth in the 800-meter run. Azhanne Bufford had personal bests in the discus and shot put, placing third in both," Lee said.

Lee added that Montanna Chrystal also had a standout day, winning in all four of her events: the 400-meter relay, 1600-meter relay, 1...
