Pomp and circumstance were the order of the day last Sunday and family, friends and faculty gathered in the gymasium at Pawnee High School in Grover, Colo. to celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2016.

Junior attendants Christine Koerting and Drew Ellis got the ceremony started, escorting the graduating seniors toward a candle lighting ceremony before making their way to the stage.

Pawnee School District Superintendent Bret Robinson welcomed the graduates and guests, followed by the invocation by Pastor Pete Beerman.
