Cowbelles corral fourth-graders for Ag Expo



Stacy Broda and Ali Epler teaching 4th graders different cuts of beef to help them become better consumers during the recent Laramie County Ag Expo in Cheyenne.

The Laramie County Cowbelles hosted their annual Ag Expo September 13 and 14 with over 1,000 fourth-graders from Laramie County in attendance at the Archer Complex in Cheyenne.

With booths ranging from water conservation to honey bees to learning to rope, the fourth-graders learned about a wide range of agriculture.

They also learned about milking cows, stages of wheat from seed to flour, animal byproducts and the amount of sugar in various foods.

Also included was an animal exhibit where the students learned about animal safety and a tractor exhibit.
