Broncs fall at home; Hornets blanked on the road

Burns quarterback Klayton Clark finds a running lane against the undefeated Greybull defense last Friday night as the Broncs hosted the Buffaloes, losing 77-21 to move to 1-3 on the season.

It was a tough Friday for area high school footballers as both Burns and Pine Bluffs lost to undefeated teams.

Pine Bluffs vs. Upton-Sundance

The #3 Hornets were on the road to Upton-Sundance to face the #1 undefeated Bobcats. Pine Bluffs went in with a 3-0 record, averaging 50 points per game while holding their opponents to just under 2.5 ppg. But the Bobcats proved to much, sending the Hornets home with a 39-0 loss, their first defeat of the season.
