Oct. 26, 1916

Two freight trains crashed into each other near Bushnell and right afterwards, a passenger train ran into the wreck. Two were killed and a number of injuries occurred.

A grand opening for the local creamery was being planned by the commercial club.

Burns held a special incorporation election with the proposition being carried by a large majority – 49 votes for and six against.

Wilson Day was to be celebrated in Pine Bluffs with an address given by Chas. A. Towne of New York, former Minnesota United States Senator.
