Hornets prepare for rematch with Upton-Sundance

This Friday, the Hornets take on Upton-Sundance in the Class 1A semi-finals, who beat Pine Bluffs 39-0 during the regular season.

The Pine Bluffs Hornets' trip from Cowley last Friday was a lot better than the ride there, due mostly to the win the Hornets got over the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies to advance to the Wyoming 1A semi-final round this coming Friday against Upton-Sundance.

"The kids were able to put the long bus ride and rain behind them," said head coach Will Gray. "I thought they did a great job of being locked in at game time. The first half was a battle, but we were able to get going in the second half. These kids are physically and mentally tough, and are playing super physical on both sides of the ball....
