Coyotes compete in Kersey

Pawnee senior Adam Perryman, third from left, runs the 200m dash last Saturday at the Platte Valley Bronco Stampede track meet in Kersey, Colo. Perryman ran a time of 25.98, which placed him 30th in the final heat.

Although the Pawnee Lady Coyotes failed to place at thePlatte Valley track meet last Saturday, Erin Ellis did compete in the shot put and discus events.

Ellis' toss of 21'4.00" placed her 36th in the shot put and she finished 30th in the discus with a throw of 66'9.00".

On the boys' side of the meet, the Coyotes finished 14th out of 21 in team standings. They compete this Saturday at the Weld County Championships in Frederick, Colo.
