Grover holds annual 'World's Biggest Little Rodeo'

The children of Roy and Samantha Basinger are part of the American Legion Post 60 contingent in the Grover Parade. They are, in the car, Kasey, pushing is Easton and Makayla is in the center. Roy Basinger is with the fire Department and a member of the Navy Reserve. More coverage inside!

There is a saying, according to Leslie McCaghren of Grover that goes, "End of the world nine miles, Grover, 12.

If that is indeed the case then many people traveled those extra three miles to attend the 94th Annual Earl Anderson Memorial Rodeo and Parade in Grover on Saturday June 17.

While McCaghren, the parade organizer, states that she has never had a theme for the parade, this year she wanted to highlight those ranchers whose families had homesteaded the land around Grover, and who still maintained their property for the last 100 years.
