Grover holds biennial reunion

In the midst of the 1967 of a nation-wide railroad strike of six shopcraft unions, Union Pacific President, Edd Bailey rode his private railroad car to Cheyenne only to drive to Grover, Colo. to attend his wife's high school reunion.
The former Miss Mabel Parker, class of 1926, was one of over one thousand former students and faculty to attend the first reunion of the 50-year-old high school.
The reunion was the work of the class of 1947, with Mrs. Boyd (Lillian) Bivens serving as chairman.
