Bond issue voted down
November 16, 2017
Good news for the voters opposed to the Bond Election on November 7. Out of 42088 voters or 22.28%, there were 3861 votes for the bonds and 5505 votes against.
Per Laramie County Community College's website the feeling was not as delightful. While we are disappointed that the college's bond election for the new buildings and structural renovations did not succeed, we respect the decision of the Laramie County voters. We still have great hopes to continue the LCCC Building Forward plan while realizing that the timeframe and funding opportunities will be decidedly different and may involve some difficult decisions. As always, our priority is our students, and we will continue our efforts as the best community college we can be for Laramie County.
