Lady Hornets take first at Bayard Invite, head to Mitchell this week

BAYARD, Neb. - Strong performances in the field and on the track Thursday propelled the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets to their second track and field win in as many meets.
Braving the wind and sleet in Bayard, the Lady Hornets beat the second-Place Bridgeport, Neb. Bulldogs by 16 points.
The Pine Bluffs girls earned 75 points total.
Prior to the season start, head coach Dustin Lee stated the team would find success by "nickel and dimeing" for points this year.
So far, the Lady Hornets have done just that.
Maddie Fornstrom and Jourdaine Cerenil were the only Lady Hornets to outright win even...
