Liberty Park dedication held in Burns
Park honors lives lost in 9/11 attacks

Burns residents gathered Saturday morning to dedicate a piece of land honoring those who perished on September 11, 2011.
Liberty Park, the brainchild of former Burns council member Harvey Humphrey, includes a piece of the World Trade Center at the center.
It also includes the ashes of two U.S. flags that were "laid to rest."
In attendance were Laramie County Commissioner Linda Heath, Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee, District Court Clerk Diane Sanchez and Diane Kirkbride, who represented U.S. Senator Mike Enzi's office.
