Laramie County absentee ballot requests surpass 2010 and 2014 elections

CHEYENNE—The number of absentee ballots for the Nov. 6 General Election has already surpassed those sent in the 2010 and 2014 elections, according to Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee. Absentee and early voting started Sept. 21 and will end on Nov. 5, the day before the General Election.

As of Friday, Sept. 28, Lee reported the Clerk’s office mailed 2469 absentee ballots, a 48% increase from the number sent in 2014 and a 65% increase from 2010.
