Lions induct new President

On November 2, 1922, the Lions Club was chartered making it one of the oldest clubs in existence. At the International Convention in Cedar Point, OH two years later Helen Keller would encourage the Lions to continue with their work for the seeing impaired calling them the "Knights of the blind, and crusaders against darkness." Two years ago Ms. Keller's great great granddaughter would come onstage at the 100th anniversary in Chicago and encourage members to continue with her grandmother's work.
And continue they have. Our local Lions Club continues to press forward making eyeglasses and so...
