Saturday saw the completion of the third annual End of the Trail Kite Festival. Despite the cold and the almost 40 mile per hour gusts that were not very kite friendly, the day went off without a hitch. Kite flyers from all over came out to show their kite skills along with several vendors, and KRRR Radio.

Darwin and Berna Smith of Mandan, North Dakota ground several of the their kites due to the strong winds blowing on the bluffs.

Kite flyers from the American Kitefliers Association and the Rocky Mountain Kite Association were there to demonstrate their stunt flying ability. Darwin and Berna Smith were also there all the way from Mandan, North Dakota to not only fly their kites, but to display the banners that they had made for the festival to show their support for various cancer research. Although the contests were cancelled due to the wind, there were still several residents out on the Bluffs enjoying the day.

There were several vendors on hand to cater to those who had braved the weather. Brianna Slater of Hempworx was there from Carpenter with various CBD products. Tessa Hall with Back Country Creations showed off a variety of crocheted works. Greatest Love Metal Works was on hand with a variety of cut out propane tanks,
