Monday night saw the annual Texas Trail Market meeting. Interim general manager Dixie Bomberger supplied the food including: ham, cheesy potatoes, and bacon green beans, and the board provided gift card and ham giveaways for the evening.

Jm Zitek announced the resignation of Don Herman as president with Zitek taking over and director Bill Shain stepping into the vice-president roll. The board is to be consistently made up of seven members, and the two seats that are open for this year will be filled by current members Greg Marquardt and Kendra Roeder as there were no nominations made from the floor.

The board is still accepting resumes for the general manager position, although all members feel that interim general manager Dixie Bomberger has been doing a fabulous job. "Mr. Cushing did an excellent job teaching her the ropes as an assistant general manager. We don't know what we would have done without her." Stated Linda Coffman.

Elections for the open seats, and a decision about the general manager position will be made in January. Until then the market seems to be in good hands. Staying open on Sundays has brought loss numbers way down, and everyone is encouraged with this years totals. "The cooperative would like to continue to encourage patrons to continue supporting their local store." Stated Coffman.

With the new flower shop and an enthusiastic team working in the store, hopefully the numbers will continue to rise.
