Sylvia Sayers, age 86, was born October 6, 1933 in Neosho, Missouri to Raymond and Alma Belle Mills. Sylvia passed away March 20, 2020 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Boulder, Colorado where she had been a resident the past 7 1/2 years. She was educated in the Missouri school systems. After graduation, she began a career as a telephone operator in Missouri. In the mid-1950's she put a call through and then struck up a conversion with a young soldier in the US Army stationed in Ft. Leonard Wood and Ft. Crowder, Missouri. Said caller turned out to be James Robert Sayers. They were married...
