Cowboy Preacher and Gospel Singer share the "Word" and music for Trail Days

Above left: Sunday morning 'Cowboy Church" was held at the Arena Complex for the 70th Trail Days with a chill in the air as the congregation listens to Cowboy ministry.
David Shumpert was a cowboy, rancher and more. About six years ago, while on the mountain feeling frustrated, and tired, he asked God "What do you want me to do Lord?" His answer came solid and firmly to him and he became a minister - preacher- Cowboy Preacher that is.
Shumpert's life took on a whole new style and meaning. "We did potlucks, and ride nights, ranch rodeos, too!"
